We’re building community, baby!
Allergic House Dining Club (AH/DC) is a monthly hangout for those with food allergies, Celiac disease, MCAS, alpha-gal, or other related allergic conditions that can make finding new restaurants difficult. Dining out can be scary, but doing it with friends can make finding new, safe places to eat a lot more fun! Our goal is to build a supportive community of people who just “get it”—and who also like to eat!
-
Yes! We stand on “the more, the merrier!”
Allergic House Dining Club is about creating experiences that support allergic lives—including their support systems. We do ask that all participants under age 18 be accompanied by a parent or guardian—regardless of their allergies.
-
Technically, no. But we may have AH/DC shirts available for purchase soon….
-
Letting us know who and how many participants plan to attend allows us to give a heads up to restaurants. Additionally, letting us know the foods you avoid will help us find eateries that can better cater to your needs.
-
Our goal is to bring accessibility to the table! If you have questions, concerns, or additional needs not covered here, please reach out to hello@allergichouse.com.
Additionally, even if you cannot or do not feel comfortable at the restaurant or eatery of choice, please feel free to join us for a food-free social hour (dates TBD). Your company is enough!
